About the position: 

The election deputy clerk takes applications for voter registration; verifies voter information; generates voter registration cards; maintains voter rolls (such as address change, name change, moving, death); processes passports; issues marriage licenses; takes payments for restitution and notary; issues absentee ballots during an election; maintains the temporary and permanent disability list; assists with election preparation; orders ballots; verifies certifies petitions; qualifies candidates for election; works election night; and verifies voter ballot boxes, absentees, and affidavit envelopes.
