Criminal Deputy Clerk

About the position: 

The criminal deputy clerk files all cases; gives each case a number in the state or civil docket; issues summons, subpoenas, etc.; swears jurors and witnesses to answer questions; files all cases bound over to the action of the Grand Jury; makes commitment papers to the Mississippi Department of Corrections for those sentenced; certifies copies of Orders of Sentence for those placed on probation; collects all fines and bond forfeitures; enters judgements into the Judgement Docket Book; places all orders signed by Circuit Judges on record in the Circuit Court Minute Book.
