Oktibbeha County Emergency Management Agency / E-911

There is a state comprehensive emergency management plan for dealing with natural and man-made disasters and civil disorder. As a part of that plan each county must have a coordinated effort for dealing with emergency situations beginning within the borders of the county and then in cooperation with other counties in the region and state.

As a part of that plan, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), conducts preparedness, training, and exercise programs for local emergency management agency directors and their staff.
