The Oktibbeha County Emergency Management Agency (OCEMA) continues to monitor the guidance of the Mississippi State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as it relates to COVID-19.
To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we encourage residents, businesses, and visitors to remain vigilant and practice proper hygiene to help prevent the virus from spreading.
Oktibbeha Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Current Status: Level IV (Virtual SIT Room Activated for Support Agencies)
A COVID-19 outbreak could last for a long time. Depending on the severity of the outbreak, public health officials may recommend community actions designed to limit exposure to COVID-19. County / City Officials may ask you to modify, postpone, or cancel large events for the safety and well-being of your event staff, participants, and the community. Please follow any guidelines set in order to protect the lives of our citizens of Oktibbeha County.
